Hey! Sorry it's been such a long time... Well anyway, my new favourite album: What Is Love by Never Shout Never. I urge you to check it out, my favourite song on there would be "California". Another good band I recently discovered is All Time Low, my favourite song from them is "Dear Maria, Count Me In". A couple other songs I like are "Cousins" by Vampire Weekend, "Satellite Heart" by Anya Marina and "Nothing Better" by The Postal Service.

Some New Tunes

Hey! Haven't updated in a while.. but who reads anyway? Well I'm starting to feel nevershoutnever! especially I Just Laugh. I'm liking Savior by Lights, and 1901 by Phoenix. Bullet Proof by La Roux is fast action and catchy, one of my favorites out of this batch. I'm loving The City is at War by Cobra Starship (you'll know them by the song Good Girls Go Bad) This one is a little older, but was just discovered by me, it's called Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. A little bit slow, but a really good song. And lastly, my two guilty pleasure songs, Hollywood by Jonas Brothers and Catch Me by Demi Lovato. I like them both, but I'm sure the majority of the world would laugh at me. Well, maybe not all the little girls who watch family channel. (I'll admit I catch an episode of Hannah Montana or Wizards of a Waverly Place once and a while)

New Tunes for Summer

Hey! Haven't posted in awhile... sorry about that. So... new music, I like the new Jordin Sparks song, Battlefield. I also have begun to like We Belong Together by Taylor Swift, it has a really cute music video with Miley's love interest from The Hannah Montana movie. There are a couple 3OH!3 songs I like now, those two being Starstrukk and Dance with me. There are three Lady Gaga songs I like, Money Honey, Paparazzi and Starstruck (ft. Flo Rida) By the way, I hate Flo Rida, Low was catchy but I hate all the rest. I like Take a Minute by K'naan, I'm also liking Bang Bang. Got Me by Stars and Crosses is pretty good. You'll probably recognize it from a phone commercial. That's pretty much all my new good stuff, Happy Summer!

Music Update #2

Okay. There hasn't been a lot of new music in my life, I recently warmed up to Halo by Beyonce. I also really like the song Kids by MGMT. Okay, I watched Slumdog Millionaire, and I liked the music and the songs like Jai Ho. But now the stupid Pussy Cat Dolls had to go and ruin everything and remake it! I like some of their music and all, but they completely missed the point of the movie! arrrghh. They need lives. Okay lets move on. I got a meet and greet pass to meet Marianas Trench at their concert!!!!! eeeek! I'm sooo excited! I also bought their CD! I already knew it all, but wow. They are so good! okay anyway I'm sure you want to hear some more of my music. Alala by CSS is good. I kind of like the video for it too. I really like the song in the iphone commercial You, Me & The Bourgeoisie by The Submarines. Thats about it. Check out my faves on the side >

Marianas Trench!

Guess what???? I'M GOING TO SEE MARIANAS TRENCH!!!! Isn't that great??? I can't wait! I think they're touring with Shiloh, the girl who does operator, and Carly Rae Jepson. She's some Person who was on Canadian idol who didn't win. I would prefer she didn't come, but whatever, as long as I get to see MARIANAS TRENCH! They are touring the release of their new album, Masterpiece Theatre. I don't actually own the CD, but I borrowed my friend's CD and uploaded it onto my ipod. Oh, also, I'm getting pet rats some time next week! If they're girls they will be Elphie and Juno, If they are boys they'll be Seth and either Jude or Gromit. First Post: Favorite Music

Okay! This is my first entry! I'll try and keep it short, but I have a lot to say. So, basically this is a music blog, I'll update you on all my favorite music, and sometimes other stuff, like books and stuff about me. I'll start with my favorite artists and bands. I LOVE Marianas Trench, I'm actually listening to them as I write this. They are Canadian, and a little off the radar, but that makes me love them more. I also love Metric. They are also Canadian, and I only know of one song I've ever heard from them on the radio: Help I'm Alive. They were actually nominated for a Juno this year, which is a Canadian music award show like the Grammies. I've heard a lot of good music from Metro Station, not just Shake It. Crystal Castles makes great music. They are a techno band, once again from Canada, but I like their stuff even better than Daft Punk. I like Lady Gaga's music, but not her. Her lyrics are all about the same thing: sex. ugh. I really like Katy Perry and Rihanna, I don't care how popular they are. I also like M.I.A. She has a unique sound, and lyrics that sometimes have a message. I suggest you look up Metric, Marianas Trench and Crystal Castles, they are all great artists that are off the radar.
